About this thing.
Cole Weavers from Pulp Audio’s The Town Whispers/Tiny Terrors and Nathan Lunsford from Ginner Media‘s The Storage Papers got together and thought it’d be fun to have a mad dash of creativity, but with everyone, everywhere, all at once. So here we are. We’re piloting a virtual festival where everyone has 48 hours to create a piece of phonic fiction from start to finish for no other reason than the fun of it. Afterwards there will be open voting for which was everyone’s favorite in various categories and overall. But the main thing is just the fun of it.
Also, thanks to:
Lou Sutcliffe of The Pantaloon Society for early (and continued) feedback, moderating the Discord, and helping to screen submissions for compliance to the fest rules
Mr. F and Coal of the RQ PLEBS Discord (no affiliation with Phonic Fiction Fest or Rusty Quill) for both moderating the Discord, and to Coal for screening submissions
And to Steven Anzalone of Maeltopia for also helping with screening!
